Creating Lasting Impact

In addition to the traditional giving methods, you can also make a significant future gift to the Gloria Gemma Breast Cancer Resource Foundation while retaining, or in many cases increasing, the income you receive from the asset used to make the gift.

Planned gifts allow donors to make an impact on those in need over an extended period of time. Additionally, there are many possible benefits from planned giving such as:

  • Reducing your taxes
  • Increasing your income
  • Preserving your family's wealth
  • Fulfilling your charitable goals
  • Reflecting your special interests

What types of Planned Giving opportunities are available?

The Gloria Gemma Legacy Fund is a planned giving vehicle by which individuals and families can provide lasting support for programs and services in the communities of their choice. Every effort is made to ensure that we tailor your fund to meet both your short and long term philanthropic goals.

The Legacy Fund provides an opportunity for future generations to grow up and understand the importance of breast cancer awareness. It also allows the donor to inspire their children and grandchildren to see the importance of giving back and investing in the future.

Outright Gifts: Cash, stock, real estate, securities, and other property.

Bequests: Gifts made through a will or living trust. In general, a bequest can name the Gloria Gemma Breast Cancer Foundation for a specific amount, a percent of the estate, the residue left in the estate after completing provisions for family and others, or a bequest contingent on specific circumstances named by the donor.

Charitable Gift Annuity: The donor makes a gift to the Gloria Gemma Breast Cancer Foundation in return for a guarantee to receive life-time annuity payments from Gloria Gemma Breast Cancer Foundation.

Charitable Remainder Trust: A donor gifts an asset to a charitable remainder trust. The trust pays an annual income, for a specified period. When the term of the trust ends, what remains is given to the donors Estate or to the Gloria Gemma Breast Cancer Foundation.

The Gloria Gemma Breast Cancer Foundation is working closely with our partner Merrill Lynch in an effort to provide these opportunities for you. For more information please call 401-861-HERO(4376) for additional information.
