| Lincoln, RI - January 25, 2007 – Liz Lyons, a senior at URI could have never predicted the outcome of her internship project. Liz, seeking a senior internship, met with URI Athletic Director Gregg Burke to discuss a possible project for her internship project. What she delivered was far beyond anything she could have expected. The huge crowd turned the Ryan Center into a sea of pink at the recent URI/UMASS Men’s Basketball Game on January 24, 2007. |

| Cranston Girls High School Ice Hockey Team Raised Over $ 2,300 at 1 st Annual “Shoot Out” To Benefit the Gloria Gemma Breast Cancer Resource Foundation |
| Lincoln, RI - February 12, 2007 On February 10, 2007, the Cranston Girls High School Ice Hockey Team held their 1 st Annual “Shoot Out” at the CLCF Building in Cranston, RI. Each team member made 500 shots and raised money by getting pledges per shot. The team goal was $ 1,000 but they doubled their goal, raising over $ 2,300.00. |

Their donations, a combination of cash and in-kind, are made through the Gloria Gemma Breast Cancer Resource Foundation, a 501 (c) 3 tax exempt organization which was established by the Gemma Family in memory of their mom who died from breast cancer. |
