The East Greenwich Branch of the International Sunshine Society is a philanthropic organization which loans needed hospital equipment to town residents. Members also provide nursing homes with favors for the holidays, make cancer dressings and sponsor other community service projects.
Meetings are held the third Tuesday of each month at noon in the First Bapitst Church Parish House on Peirce Street.
