The C.H.A.I.N. Fund, Inc. is Financial Assistance and a Social Intervention Network for Cancer Patients. Established in the heart of New Haven, CT. they have aided the less fortunate for 5 years now. Many of those they helped theyre able to get back on their feet and start their lives a new.

What They Do!

They Financially Assist Cancer Patients that are undergoing strenuous cancer treatments, which temporarily prevents them from working.

The Chain fund assist Cancer Patients in areas such as mortgage, rent, utilities, prescriptions co-pays, insurance co-pays, & special food needs.

They also make available, support services such as financial counseling, nutritional, emotional and wellness workshops and support groups.

How They Do It!

They solicit funds to provide this service to cancer patients, through fundraising activities, corporate donations, private donations and grants.

How Do They Disburse Funds For The Cancer Patient?

Funds are made available to qualified applicants who meet their criteria for assistance. The disbursement of funds, is based upon the evaluation of the Cancer Patients greatest needs, like Mortgage, Rent, Utilities, Prescriptions co-pays, Insurance co-pays, and Special food needs.

When their criteria is met, the funds are paid directly to the vendor (not the cancer patient) example: The Utility Company, The Insurance Company, The Pharmacist, The Mortgage Lender, The Phone Company etc.

Our goal is to alleviate financial stress, so the Cancer Patients can focus on winning the fight against cancer.
