Welcome to the website of the American Society of Law, Medicine & Ethics. We hope this site provides you with the best educational information at the intersection of law, medicine, & ethics.

Within this site you will find information about our two nationally acclaimed peer reviewed journals, The Journal of Law, Medicine & Ethics and The American Journal of Law & Medicine. You will be able to search for information from the hundreds of articles that have been published. You will also be able to register for our educational conferences and connect to relevant weblinks from the ASLME site.

We also offer access to our research projects on pain undertreatment, which have been funded by the Mayday Fund, as well as The Connecticut Statewide Pain Management Study supported by the Donaghue Medical Research Foundation. The entire text of a special edition of JLME devoted to appropriate pain management will be available free to interested viewers.

ASLME has also developed a News section which offers timely information on Recent Developments in Law, Medicine & Ethics. Please note that we have compiled extensive links to relevant sites to use for your own research and study. Since these links will prove to be an invaluable resource, we encourage you to make this site your home page. Also, don't forget to visit our recent listings of current employment opportunities.
