The 4th Annual Flames of Hope…A Celebration of Life at WaterFire will be held on Saturday, October 10th at Water Place Park in Providence.

This year, the festivities will kick off with the 1st Annual Gloria Gemma 5K Road Race.  Join hundreds of walkers and runners for a day of fun and celebration.  The Kids & Family Block Party will begin at noontime located at Station Park.  There will be interactive activities for children of all ages, balloon sculptors, special prizes, and much more.   

Join us at 5:30 PM for the enormously uplifting Flames of Hope Torch Ceremony and the lighting of the RI State House in Pink to celebrate National Breast Cancer Awareness Month.  The Flames of Hope VIP Party & Wine Tasting Gala will kick off the evening in the Flames of Hope Village beginning at 6:00 PM.  Entertainment will also be provided. 

The Flames of Hope Village will showcase the Breaking Boards for Breast Cancer Event, the Cotton Candy Boutique, featuring clothing, jewelry and accessories, The Flames of Hope Education Pavilion, plenty of great food, live entertainment and dancing, the exciting Pink Ribbon VIP Party & Wine Tasting Gala, raffles and more.  

Be sure to visit the Gargoyals & Oracles, watch as Fire Dancer Spogga performs his magic at the Confluence and at the WaterFire Basin, and check out Rhode Island’s favorite jazz bands at the Jazz Stage.  Don’t miss this extraordinary event!
