Hands of Hope
Hands of Hope
A cancer diagnosis can create an economic hardship on an individual or family, and the Hands of Hope Program provides financial assistance to people in active cancer treatment. Cancer patients have enough to worry about without the added stress of trying to figure out how to pay for groceries or rent. This program helps ease the financial burden many low-income patients face by providing a month’s worth of groceries or assistance with their rent/mortgage.
A cancer patient must meet income guidelines, and be nominated by the oncology social worker or patient navigator from their cancer treatment center.
