The iconic Illuminations of Life ceremony and the Torch procession is the pinnacle of the Flames of Hope Weekend. This tribute honors breast cancer survivors and remembers those lost with a moving program witnessed by thousands as it unfolds on the Rhode Island State House steps.
The State Ballet of Rhode Island tells a story through beautiful choriography is punctuated by the lighting of the state house in pink. At the conclusion of the ceremony, 150 torchbearers process to the Providence River Basin to light the largest WaterFire of the season.
Each year, GloriDays participants Walk 44 miles to provide FREE Education, Holistic Programs & Support Services to cancer patients, survivors, and their loved ones. This year due to the COVID-19 Pandemic we will once again walk virtually. Family and friends near and far can join in the excitement and inspiration of the GloriDays weekend.
